It is with great honor that we present the inaugural issue of Ihya: Journal of Islamic Thought, a bi-annual scholarly publication dedicated to the study and critical engagement with Islamic intellectual traditions. This first issue marks the beginning of a platform committed to exploring the richness, complexity, and enduring relevance of these traditions in addressing contemporary questions. The articles featured herein examine a wide array of themes, ranging from the philosophical foundations of ethics and spirituality to the intersections of Islam with modern society, culture, and the environment. As a forthcoming and continuing endeavor, Ihya aspires to cultivate rigorous scholarship, foster critical reflection, and promote constructive dialogue, thereby contributing meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Islamic thought.
